Why was a hold/charge placed on my credit card?

When you place a bid on Wine & Bids, we put a hold on your credit card for either $10 if it's below $250 or a 5% buyer's fee based on your bid (minimum $251, maximum $5,000). This is a pending charge which is removed at auction end if you do not win the wine, and within a few days will disappear from your card's transaction history. If you win, you will be charged at auction end the bid amount, buyer's fee, as well as any applicable taxes and shipping fees.

Will you accept my wine?

Wine & Bids is the best online wine auction marketplace to buy and sell unique wines of all kinds. To us, “unique” ranges from the obvious (1996 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon) to the esoteric (Cuvée J’en Veux by Jean-François Ganevat) to the traditional fun wines that collectors love (Chateau Lafite-Rothschild Pauillac).
